The RG Panax Processing Method
The RG Panax method is the new type of processing technique for the fermentation, heat aging, and heat differentiation process, to produce new types of ginseng complexes.
The BIO HONGSAM Co., Ltd., produces red ginseng extract by applying heat to the medicinal herb for more than 120 hours. The process changes the partial structure of the Ginsenoside, the main component of the ginseng, and creates more than 49 types of new complexes with health benefits, which were then turned into 22 types of clear brown RG Panax extracts that helps with the digestion and absorption of food, 4 types of fermented ginseng enzymes (HW-2), 9 types of fermented seaweed enzymes (HW-3), 9 types of Gold Health herbal beads (HW-4), and fermented & aged ginseng shoot complex (HW-5), etc.
The BK 21 Project is led by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology of Korea to cultivate the human
resources with high education levels, who will lead the knowledge-based society of the 21st century. As part
of the national project, the Ministry successfully concluded the 1st phase of the BK21 project (1999~2005),
and later announced the members of the national project for the 2nd phase of the project on April 27.
The BIO HONGSAM Co., Ltd., with its R&D institute, was appointed as one of the businesses in the Core Field of
the 2nd phase BK 21 Project, for its 2 joint projects with the College of Pharmacy, Pusan National University. The
BIO HONGSAM Co., Ltd., will recover the long history of the famous Korean Ginseng, while struggling
to develop natural drugs for the health of humankind, create a “healthier world,” and contribute to the society.
